“My philosophy as a recording professional is to represent the recorded material faithfully and naturally, whether the performance is a concert or dedicated recording session. In achieving a natural sound field that accurately reflects the acoustical properties of the space and performance, I use a variety of audiophile microphones with both traditional and innovative microphone placements and techniques. I listen closely to the wishes of composers and performers to help fulfill their artistic vision.” –Dane Marion
